The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here! “By Archangel’s Light” is just about ready, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the epic conclusion of the Mechhaven saga.
Over the last four books, we’ve watched this community of mechs and humans build something special together. Now in Book 5, everything they’ve fought to protect faces the ultimate test when the Maltorey armada arrives with overwhelming forces threatening all sentient life—human or mech.
Misty faces crushing decisions trying to hold Mechhaven together under siege. Dennis embarks on a desperate mission that could be key to their survival. And Angel discovers that sometimes the greatest challenges aren’t the ones you expect.
This finale has everything: epic space battles, insurmountable odds, and all the heart and courage that makes Mechhaven special. It’s about a community refusing to give up on each other when everything they value is on the line.
I won’t spoil anything, but I will say this: writing these final battle scenes reminded me why I fell in love with this world and these characters. The bonds of friendship, the meaning of sacrifice, and the power of standing together against overwhelming adversity—it’s all here.
Thank you for taking this incredible journey with me. Your support, emails, and enthusiasm have made all the difference.
Some battles can only be won by Archangel’s light!
Mechhaven Missives
I’m still finalizing the details for Book 5’s release date, which will depend on a couple of factors, but I’m currently planning on releasing it the week of September 22nd (probably the 24th).
Over the next few days, I’ll be locking in the promotions for Book 5. The release date will coincide with Los Angeles Comic Con, so I also want to make sure I have some printed copies on hand to sell at the show.
Once I have all these details taken care of and send the back cover copy to my cover designer, Jeff Brown, for the paperback version, I’ll tackle wrapping up a Mechhaven novella that I’m halfway through. I’d really like to release that by the end of October.
I’ll have more details about Book 5’s release in the next newsletter, so stay tuned!
